Dr. Suzanne Gilmour is currently the Chairperson of the Educational Administration Department at Oswego State University. Dr. Gilmour has been a teacher, principal and central office administrator in the public schools for twenty-five years. She is a highly sought consultant on such issues as leadership development, brain-based learning, and administrative placement. Dr. Gilmour is currently the Executive Director of the New York State Association for Women in Administration (NYSAWA).

Dr. Lucy Martin has a broad base of experience in the field of education. She has been a teacher, reading specialist, administrator and superintendent of schools in rural and suburban school districts. She also has been a member of the New York State Teachers' Retirement System Board of Trustees for 20 years, having served for ten years as President. Dr. Martin has worked with many boards of education on studies and superintendent searches and also has assisted school districts in recruitment of other qualified administrative candidates.

Dr. Philip Martin recently completed 42 years in education, of which 38 were in education administration, with 33 in the superintendency. During his career he developed a keen understanding of every aspect of school operation, and established an excellent relationship with boards of education. In other education arenas, Dr. Martin was President of the New York State Council of School Superintendents,co-founder and Chair of the Central New York Education Consortium, and co-founder and President of the Syracuse University Superintendents Alumni Association. In his last school district he led documentation of instructional and personnel decision-making processes, and the district's certification as an ISO 9001 organization. Additionally, he has participated in superintendent searches and operational efficiency studies with Castallo and Silky and has recently developed a leadership training program for a private sector company.

Dr. Deborah Leidner serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She joined the department following a thirty-three year career in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). During her tenure in LAUSD she served as a teacher, curriculum advisor, middle school, high school and alternative school principal, central office administrator and Local District Superintendent. As a superintendent, she was responsible for the development of six new schools, including the new high school on the CSUN campus. Dr. Leidner has written and directed numerous federal, state and foundation grants throughout her career, including a multi-million dollar Title IV-C grant, a $713,000 RJR Nabisco Next Century Schools Grant, and a Federal School Leadership Grant.

Dr. James M. Merrins is the former Executive Program Administrator for the BOCESs in Western New York, 1995-2008. He currently administers several programs and workshops to support Superintendents of Schools and other school district leaders. These programs can be located at SuperintendentofSchools.com. Included are the Superintendent Development Program, Cycles of Success for new superintendents, the School Business Officials Training and Support Program, and numerous fiscal workshops for superintendents and senior school administrators. Dr. Merrins has 37 years in education, of which 35 are in education administration with 16 years in the superintendency, Honeoye, NY and Fredonia, NY. Dr. Merrins is also a New York State Certified School Business Administrator. He has taught school finance and school law at the college graduate level. Dr. Merrins provides administrative management studies in central office effectiveness and efficiency, and follow-up staff training and administrative support in implementing change.
